Our mission of the HUGS Foundation is to promote health, education and social enrichment for the youth of the Willapa Bay area. This is a major criterion of our grants, along with the fact that we focus on activities and projects that benefit groups of children rather than individuals. We ask that only one grant application may be submitted per calendar year from an organization, individual or group.  We try to support youth under the age of eighteen, and we support only non-profit projects. Most grant approvals are between $250.00-$1,000.00   Listed here are recent mini grants awarded to local groups in the past: Willapa Harbor Wrestling Warriors, Raymond Extreme Action League, Pacific County Adventure Day, South Bend World Class Scholars Day, Missoula Children’s Theatre Sponsorship, Timberland Regional Library, Sunday Afternoon Live, Raymond PTA, Coats 4 Kids, and Willapa Harbor Youth Football League.

Grant request are looked at throughout the year, but it is always better to make a request early in the year, so that your request will be considered from the month of January and on towards the end of the year.  We always have more money at the first of the year.

We look at each request thoroughly and at our regular monthly meetings. We have the grant request form on our website now, so you can download the request form and fill it our, then send it to the address listed on the request form.
